We could not let the day end without wishing the fabulous Catherine, Princess of Wales, a happy birthday. To celebrate her birthday, here is a list of actresses who have played her onscreen.

 Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance (2018)

Laura Mitchell plays Catherine, at the time Duchess of Cambridge, during the courtship of Harry and Meghan and in the lead up to their wedding. The film premiered on May 13, 2018, on the American cable channel Lifetime Network. Mitchell also played the Duchess of Cambridge in Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal (2019) and Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace (2021).

The Crown (2016-2023)

Joining the cast in the sixth and final season of “The Crown,” Meg Bellamy makes her professional acting debut playing a college aged Catherine Middleton.

 William & Catherine: A Royal Romance (2011)

Filmed on location in Bucharest, Alice St. Clair stars as a young Catherine Middleton during her time at St. Andrew’s while courting Prince William, their break-up and reunification, engagement, and planning of royal nuptials. The film was release in August 2011 on the American cable channel Hallmark Channel.

 William & Kate: The Movie (2011)

Despite the negative reception from critics, “William & Kate: The Movie” was a rating success for Lifetime. Filmed mostly in Los Angeles, the made-for-TV stars Camilla Luddington as a young Catherine Middleton, and premiered 11 days before the wedding of Prince William and Catherine on April 29, 2011.

 The Windsors (2016-Present)

Louise Ford stars as the “gypsy” Catherine Middleton, who is desperate to fit in with the other members of the British royal family.  While completely fictional, the series draws from real events.
